PRINCESS PARK

Public BBQ

Princess Park in Queenscliff offers families a well-maintained space dominated by mature trees that provide generous shade across manicured lawns. The established trees, some shaped ornamentally, create a park-like atmosphere that feels both formal and welcoming. Playground equipment keeps children occupied while parents relax on benches or under the canopy. A small on-site cafe proves popular with visitors. The spacious grounds allow groups to spread out comfortably, with ample room between parties, a feature particularly valued by those seeking some distance from other visitors. Adjacent recreational facilities, including tennis courts and a cricket oval, add entertainment value and create a lively community atmosphere during matches. Barbecue areas and numerous benches provide infrastructure for picnics. The combination of old-growth trees, quality playground, and surrounding sporting activity makes this an engaging destination for multigenerational gatherings, though the refined landscaping feels more suburban park than bushland escape.
